Who we are
A very enthusiastic gynecologist couple Dr. Milind and Dr. Manjula Pishawikar started a modest 10 bedded maternity nursing Home in April 1989; with all amenities. Soon their practice picked up by word of mouth. They became popular for their sincere approach towards pregnant women and for giving a fair trial for normal delivery. Dr. Milind was interested in Advanced Endoscopy and infertility. He took special training and fellowship in Endoscopy at Cochin with Dr Hafiz Rahman and Dr. Paul. He was trained in ART (assisted reproductive technique IVF/ICS) at Auckland hospital New Zealand and started his IVF lab in 2000.
We at Pishawikar Hospital take pride in a patient & elaborate counselling and giving patient every available facility step by step, without pushing them towards higher and more expensive techniques like IVF and ICSI in a hurry. We are particularly known for significantly good results in IUI (Intrauterine Insemination).
Presently the couple runs a very successful practice with around 450 deliveries per year and regular diagnostic and operative laparoscopies to help sub fertility couples conceive. They believe in their hard work & good ethical practice to speak for itself.
Milestones
- Conducted over 15,000 high risk and normal deliveries and C- Sections.
- Assisted over 7,000 couples to achieve pregnancy through ART like IUI IVF ICSI and other fertility treatments.
- Conducted over 7,000 laparoscopic surgeries including myomectomies endometriosis, total laparoscopic hysterectomies etc.
- Egg freezing and embryo freezing facilities available since 15 Years
- Egg donation and sperm Bank available since 5 Years .
